When the Lions joined with factory workers, employees and well-meaning individuals in the Freeport Area of Bataan for a noble purpose for mankind, they were able to collect 185 bags of blood.
The blood-letting project was initiated by Mariveles Centennial Host Lions Club headed by charter President Dr. Lilia Tamayo and current president Engr. Hivin Rosauro.
The activity, held last March 4 at the Mariveles District Hospital temporary treatment facility in the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB), was participated in by members of FAB Investors and Locators Association (FABILA), AFAB Administrator Em Pineda, Charlie Gatbunton Jr., Karpa II Security Services, Dunlop, Herma Shipping, LDS Welfare and Self-Reliance Group and Dong-In Group of Companies.
“It was the most participated blood-letting activity ever in Mariveles,” said Alex Borboran of Karpa Security Services.
